Archive folders: Protect the contents directly
Nowadays, many documents are processed digitally and archived in parallel in archive folders and pockets made of special cardboard or paper. Because while, for example, in office operations many documents have to be archived according to legal requirements (and, conversely, disposed of after the storage period has expired), in archival institutions, museums, libraries as well as in private or public collections the corresponding archival materials are often stored for much longer, usually for many decades, ideally even for many centuries. To ensure this long-term protection, it is particularly important that the archive folders used are of very high quality, as they are in direct contact with the contents.
Direct contact requires the highest quality
Our archive folders for document archiving are only available in the very highest quality grade PREMIUM PLUS. They are all acid-free, have a pH value between 7.5 and 10 and sufficient alkali reserves in the form of a CaCO3 buffer of more than 2% to stop over-acidification and yellowing of the archival documents. They are also made of 100% cellulose and meet the specifications of ISO 9706 as well as the particularly strict specifications of ISO 16245-A.
How to find the right archive folder
To find your way around this extensive range more easily and quickly, it is best to use the convenient filter options. Select one or more filter criteria to narrow down the selection of products to those that meet your requirements.
Of course, you can also combine different filter options to further limit the number of search results. For example, you can search specifically for archive folders that are suitable for a certain format and then specify these in more detail, e.g. by specifying the grammage. By clicking on the down arrow (you will see it to the right of the filter), you can make your selection. The individual filter criteria are displayed directly after activation below the filters. If no results were found after using the filter, you can simply cancel the entire filter or individual elements by clicking on the small "x" (next to the filter).
High quality - sustainably produced
As a family business with tradition, we have always been committed to active environmental protection. We therefore produce our archive folders as sustainably as possible and take care to conserve natural resources and reduce material losses as early as the planning stage of the production process. To ensure that the folders last as long as possible, we always rely on high-quality materials and on partners who actively support us in achieving our environmental goals.
