Papers

Papers buffered with calcium carbonate ensure a high pH value that protects the archival materials for many years. Unbuffered papers, on the other hand, are mainly used to protect photographic collections of all kinds. Colour photographs and negatives in particular should be protected with unbuffered papers to prevent long-term colour changes that could occur in contact with buffered packaging materials. Black and white photographs, on the other hand, can be stored in both buffered and unbuffered environments. We will be happy to advise you and recommend the right solution for your requirements.
