These repair strips were specially developed for the demanding and gentle repair of the finest objects made of paper. The repair strips are highly transparent and lightfast. The mounting strips are rubberised on one side and consist of long-fibre, buffered Japanese paper from Paper Nao (5 g/m², ivory). For safe handling, the adhesive strips are connected with a support fleece, which is removed after moistening the adhesive side and gluing. The plasticizer-free adhesive (paste and glutin glue) is activated by light moistening. The strips can be removed at any time without damaging the repaired paper surface.
