The white Tyvek® nonwoven fabric is highly versatile and suitable for wrapping, protecting (including against splashes), and preserving artworks, objects, and cultural assets of all kinds.
Tyvek® is made from 100% polyethylene fibers (HDPE) as a spunbond nonwoven.
The material is antistatic, highly water-repellent, breathable, flexible and tear-resistant.

The main difference between Tyvek® nonwoven 1442 R and 1623 E is the microperforation in the 1623 E material. The tiny holes allow for increased air permeability, making the fabric softer and more pliable.
