Product information "Tyvek® Soft Nonwoven 1623 E - roll - 152.4 cm x 50 m"

The white Tyvek® nonwoven fabric is highly versatile and suitable for wrapping, protecting, and preserving artworks, objects, and cultural assets of all kinds. Since the fabric does not interact with other materials, it can be used in direct contact with valuable, sensitive archival materials and serves well as a protective separation or interleaving layer.

Tyvek® is made from 100% polyethylene fibers (HDPE) as a spunbond nonwoven.

The material is antistatic, highly breathable (due to micro-perforation), slightly water-repellent, very flexible, soft, and extremely tear-resistant.

The main difference between Tyvek® nonwoven 1623 E and 1442 R is the microperforation in the 1623 E material. The tiny holes allow for increased air permeability, making the fabric softer and more pliable.
